Hero MotoCorp introduce a hybrid diesel 150cc idea motorcycle on 29 January 2014. Along with RNT, company has plans to launch 4 other models for 2014-15.
The HXR150R has launched a complete new products with hybrid schooter and bike, Company RNT has to plan two wheel drive sports with great fuel efficiency and would come with various features including to launch 150cc Xtreme Sports bike in coming days, 110cc scooter Dash in the second quarter and Leap and 250cc sports bike after June of the 2014. The new inventions will be launched first in European Markets after these will be launched in Indian market according to Hero Motocorp Managing Director and CEO Pawan Munjal. These new hybrid product scooter range of 340 KM full tank with single charge, these hybrid scooter are better than available all electric motorbike market, said by company.
Tenure the launching unique product, Munjal said the company will take time and has not put a exact date for the launch of the new vehicle. He Also added and said that “As we go ahead, we would like to add accessories, variants to the model…it will have usage in different countries in addition India due to the kind of features.
It is a good production step by Hero MotoCorp and the co buddy Comp.
Concept of RNT diesel scooter has a liquid cooled four-stroke turbocharged diesel engine 150cc producing 13.5hp of power and 35Nm of torque. It also has an electric core motor too providing 1KW of power to the front wheel. Hero MotoCorp declares a 70k/h top speed and 0-60k/h in 5 seconds and the other hand the HX250R will be the first motorbike build up with EBR and It have a 249cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine developing a handsome 31hp of power and can accelerate to 60k/h from standstill in a claimed 2.7 seconds. The engine is all aluminum, it gets a combination ABS system, single shock rear suspension and under seat exhaust.
