Bajaj Moto Corp. has launched the latest Discover 125 in India market with affordable price at Rs 48,000 for young bike enthuses. This motorcycle have 124.6cc four-valve engine with the twin spark DTS-i technology. The engine produces 11.5PS of power and 10.8Nm of torque and swanks a fuel economy of 76km/L aprox. The Bajaj have fuel tank capacity of 9.5l and Bajaj claims a top speed of 100kmp/h from the Bajaj Discover 125.
According to Bajaj that the new Discover 125 will compete with the likes of Honda CB Shine, Hero Glamour and Hero Passion Pro in terms of pricing and performance. The Bajaj Discover 125 gets 130mm drum brakes system as standard, but you can opt for a 200mm front petal disc for some extra money.
Bajaj has been eager on bringing a differentiation to the segments it operates, especially with the Discover family. However 100 cc Discover sees a Discover M, a extra powerful Discover T apart from the regular Discover 100 cc. Yet in the 125 cc segment, the company sells the new Discover that makes 11.5 hp, the Discover 125 T that makes 12.5 hp and the most powerful of the lot, the Discover ST making 13 hp.
The Discover 125 have standard Nitrox gas-charged suspension, electric start and DC headlamp and the new Discover is styled similar to the 125ST and appearance stylish compared to the other 125cc motor roadsters.
New Bajaj Discover available in 6-colour options – electron blue, wine red, charcoal magenta, charcoal green, silver blue and silver gold in market.
