WSBK News: Loris Baz has aiming high for Kawasaki Racing’s at the 5th round of the World Superbike Championship at Donington Park
Loris Baz is predicting a ‘good weekend’ for himself and the Kawasaki Racing team as he bids to get back on the World Superbike Championship podium at Donington Park.
A rider that has developed a loyal following in the UK after a short, yet eye-catching stint in the British Superbike Championship four years ago, Baz is looking forward to getting back to action at Donington Park after just missing the podium in Italy.
A model of consistency so far in 2014 having finished no lower than 7th in the opening eight races, Baz is confident he is in for a strong weekend on the Kawasaki at Donington Park.
“I have been training a lot and I feel good after Imola. I feel ready and I am looking to the next race at Donington. It is a circuit of two parts. It is flowing for most of the lap then there are three tight corners and short straights. Last year we struggled a bit in the slow corners at most tracks but this has been improved for this season.
Loris Baz having thoughts that“This should be a good weekend for us. It is always nice to go and race in England and the fans there are really enthusiastic. I like to ride there but I hope we have better weather than they are forecasting at the moment.”
