Bajaj Introduces a New Dual-Tone Colors for Pulsar 220F after the launching of new color schemes for the Pulsar 180, Bajaj Auto has updated the quarter-faired Pulsar 220F as well with new color options on the palette.

Bajaj New dual-tone 220F shades are the same as the ones seen on the Pulsar 180, which include cocktail wine red, sapphire blue and pearl metallic white. The Pulsar 220 already gets monotone and dual-tone shades available on the palette and Bajaj is just extending courtesies with the inclusion of the new colors.

Bajaj’s Activities for Key Pulsar Brands

Bajaj Auto has future commitments for their key brands. Bajaj will be updating the Pulsar 150 and 180 models later this year, and the inclusion of new shades comes in the need for stock clearance, ahead of launch of the new model. The Pulsar 220 on the other hand will continue to serve between the Pulsar 180 and the flagship 200 NS with the old school twin-spark DTS-i engine. The Pulsar 220 is powered by a 220cc, four-stroke, oil-cooled engine producing 21 PS at 8500 RPM and 19.12 Nm at 7000 RPM. The bike gets telescopic front forks and Nitrox shock absorbers at the rear.

Pulsar’s 220 fans interestingly, in spite of the more powerful 200NS launched in the Pulsar series, the Pulsar 220 model continues to do consistent numbers for Bajaj. The Pulsar 220 could certainly make do with an updated suspension setup and a new instrument console that will lease a whole new life to this otherwise sound bike. The Pulsar 220 was one of the motorcycles to enter the 200 cc plus segment in 2009, which was waiting to be explored at that time.
