MotoGP test 2015 1 Malaysia Marc Márquez in head

One of the characteristics that define Marc Marquez is his hunger to be first in each session in which it participates. This has demonstrated on the first day of MotoGP action at 2015 with Sepang in pre-season workouts.

MotoGP test 2015 1 Malaysia Marc Márquez in head

The champion of MotoGP in 2013 and 2014 has achieved the best time of the day with his RC213V Honda in the last stages, a 2′ 00.262 that will need quite lower in the coming days.

This record helped Marquez to stay in front of the Yamaha official of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, which have shown a good tone in the first touchdown. 46 and 99 have been one and two tenths of Marquez respectively, closer to what they were in 2014 no doubt at this point. Hopeful he has been also the Ducati of Andrea Dovizioso in fourth position a little more than 3 tenths and average, although it is early to check the progress of the Borgo Panigale bikes since they have not yet tried the Desmosedici GP15.

As usual Dani Pedrosa has taken it calmly in contact almost to half a second, while Pol Espargaró has shown its bid to evolve by 2015 to be sixth. Starting from there has been opened already quite the difference, with the Suzuki GSX-RR of Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Vinales quite green, but not as much as the Aprilia’s Alvaro Bautista. It paints a 2015 hard for the talaverano.

In short the first day of 2015 makes it clear that the balance of power in the category remains intact, with the question of knowing what can go up the Yamaha of Rossi and Lorenzo, as well as their level of piloting.
